This project was zoned as part of Bluff City Industrial park, which also included zoning for an asphalt plant, concrete plant and the Vulcan underground limestone mine. A contract was negotiated with BP Amoco that involves the shipment of liquid asphalt via rail from BP Amoco's Whiting, Indiana refinery.
