This 50,000 square foot transfer station was developed on reclaimed sand and gravel property in our Elgin Industrial Park. State siting for a transfer station was approved, along with a tri-party agreement that involved a competing transfer station and the cooperation of the Village of Bartlett and the City of Elgin. The project received a Silver Award under LEED certification program for its use of environmentally friendly and recyclable materials in the construction of the project.
